Job Overview
As a Data Scientist at Leobrix, you will be responsible for developing, and implementing AI and ML solutions. You will work on a variety of data science projects across multiple business areas, using your analytical, statistical and machine learning skills to deliver business value.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources to perform in-depth data analysis.
- Develop and apply statistical models and machine learning algorithms to analyse complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
- Create clear and compelling data visualisations to communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Build predictive models to forecast trends, identify opportunities, and mitigate risks.
- Design and execute hypothesis tests to validate assumptions and inform decision-making.
- Present data-driven insights recommendations to stakeholders though reports, presentations, and dashboards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and provide data-driven solutions.
- Stay updated on the latest data science tool, techniques, and best practices to enhance the data science capabilities of the team.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations and ethical data handling practices.
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, statistical modelling, and machine learning.
- Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools like R, Python and SQL.
- Strong understanding of statistical concepts and machine learning algorithms.
- Experience with data visualization tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication and storytelling abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team.
- Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations is a plus.
