Job Overview
As a Senior Data Scientist at Leobrix, you will be responsible for developing, and implementing AI and ML solutions for our products and projects. You will work on a variety of data science projects across multiple business areas, using your analytical, statistical and machine learning skills to deliver business value. You will be responsible to guide and mentor junior members and help them learn industry-specific nuances for developing a data science solution.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in advanced analytics and data science projects, applying statistics, machine learning, and deep learning techniques to solve complex business problems.
- Explore and analyse large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop, test, and deploy predictive models and algorithms to support business objectives, including but not limited to forecasting, recommendation systems and anomaly detection.
- Create informative data visualizations and dashboards to effectively communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Design and conduct hypothesis tests to validate assumptions and hypothesis.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical leadership to junior data scientists, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, engineers, and product managers, to understand business challenges and provide data-driven solutions.
- Document data analysis methodologies, code, and models for reproducibility and knowledge sharing.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and AI, and incorporate them into your work.
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist, with a proven track record of leading and delivering complex data science projects.
- Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools like R, Python and SQL.
- Expertise in machine learning, statistical analysis, and data modelling.
- Strong data visualization skills.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, pytorch etc. is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to lead and mentor junior data scientists effectively.
- Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations is preferred.
